Photographing in Visakhapatnam

We are based in Visakhapatnam and photograph across the whole city, which in practice means three very different kinds of day. There are the hotel receptions around Siripuram and Daspalla Hills, indoors and on a tight schedule. There are the beach and resort functions along the Rushikonda stretch, where the light decides the timings. And there are the house ceremonies in the older colonies, where the room is small, the family is close, and the photography has to stay out of the way.

Seasons matter more here than couples expect. The wedding months from November to February book out first and the good dates go early — eight to fourteen months ahead is normal for a full wedding. Ceremonies fixed by the calendar rather than by preference, like a barasala or a half saree function, cluster onto the same auspicious days, so tell us the date as soon as it is set rather than when the hall is.

We travel across the city within the standard fee, including Bheemunipatnam and Anandapuram at the northern edge and the industrial belt to the south. If a day runs across two venues at opposite ends, say so when you enquire — it changes how many of us come, not whether we can do it.
