About

SVB Studio photographs weddings and family ceremonies across Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Vizianagaram. We work the way the day actually runs: documentary, close, and without a shot list.

How we work

There is no list of poses to get through. Nobody is called back for a second entrance, and the only time we ask anyone to stand somewhere is for the family portraits everyone wants a copy of.

Two of us are there for a full wedding day, which matters more than it sounds — one camera cannot be at the mandap and with the bride's sisters at the same time, and the second of those is usually where the photograph is.

What you get back

Every collection includes a printed album, chosen and laid out with you rather than delivered as a surprise. The full set of edited photographs arrives in an online gallery you can share with family abroad.

Editing is colour and contrast, not reconstruction. We will not slim anyone, remove a relative, or replace a sky. What you saw is what you get back, at its best.

Ceremonies we photograph often

Weddings and pre-wedding shoots, and the ceremonies around a family's year:

  • Seemantham and barasala — the baby shower and the naming day

  • Half saree functions, or langa voni

  • First birthdays and milestone birthdays

  • Anniversaries, including silver and golden

  • Gruhapravesam and other house ceremonies

We also do commercial work during the week — restaurants, property, product and fashion — which is a different craft with the same habit of preparing properly.

Booking

A conversation costs nothing and is the only reliable way to tell whether we are right for your day. If we are not, we will say so and suggest someone who is.

We hold a date for seven days on a handshake, which is long enough to talk it over with both families without anyone feeling rushed. After that it goes back on the calendar, and we will tell you before it does rather than letting you find out.

Where we work

Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Vizianagaram, and the neighbourhoods around them.

Tell us about your day

Check a date, ask about coverage, or talk a ceremony through before you decide anything.
