Planning around the place
The same light that suits a portrait punishes a group shot, because the far end of a row falls away into nothing. So we plan the large groups for a terrace or the lane outside and keep the indoor work to smaller frames, which is the opposite of how a function is usually photographed and produces a far better set here.
