Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SVB Studio collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers this website and the photography work we are commissioned for.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect the name, phone number, email address and event details you give us. We do not ask for anything we do not need to answer you and quote for the work.

This site records basic, anonymous usage — pages visited and roughly where in the world the visit came from — so we know which pages are useful. That data does not identify you.

Photographs

Photographs taken at your event are stored on our own systems and on the platform that runs this site. Originals are kept in private storage that is not publicly reachable; only the versions prepared for your gallery are served publicly.

We will not publish photographs of your event on this website, on social media, or anywhere else without asking you first. If you would rather we published none at all, say so at the booking and we will record it.

Who else sees your information

Nobody, other than the services needed to run the studio — the hosting and database platforms that store this site's data, and the email service that delivers your enquiry to us. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept while we are talking and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Photographs from a commissioned event are kept as a backup for the period agreed in your booking.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@svbtechlabs.com and we will respond. Deleting photographs from a completed booking is permanent, so we will confirm before doing it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page. Any change that affects work already booked will be raised with you directly rather than left here to be discovered.
