Long sightlines let a portrait have depth without going down to the sand at all, and the terraces and open balconies here end up doing a lot of the work that would otherwise need an outdoor location and a second move.

What we photograph here
Home functions, engagements, naming ceremonies and family portrait sessions, usually photographed partly indoors and partly on a terrace rather than moving the whole party somewhere else.
Planning around the place
Elevation makes late afternoon generous and makes sunrise worth considering, which is rare. What it does not do is behave the same from one house to the next, so we check the specific terrace before the day: which way it faces and what is built next to it decide whether the view is behind the group or behind the camera.
