How we work
Most people arrive certain they are bad at being photographed. They are not — they have only ever been photographed badly, usually quickly, usually under a light nobody chose. A session that takes twenty unhurried minutes fixes most of it.
We show you frames as we go. Seeing one that works changes how you stand for the next, and it is faster than any amount of being told to relax.
Headshots and team sessions
A professional headshot has to survive being cropped into a circle at forty pixels and printed at A4. We shoot and crop for both rather than delivering one and hoping.
For offices we set up on site and work through a booking sheet, usually around ten minutes per person. Everyone photographed against the same background on the same day is what makes a team page look deliberate.
Family and graduation portraits
Graduation portraits are worth taking properly while the gown is still hired. We can photograph at the ceremony or afterwards, somewhere with better light and fewer people.
Family portraits work best outdoors in the hour before sunset. Bring the grandparents. In ten years that is the frame that matters, and it is the one most often not taken.
