The older quarters have courtyards and traditional houses that are still used for ceremonies, and they do most of the work for us. Newer venues have gone out towards the Ring Road, where there is space for vehicles and for anything set up outdoors.
Kothavalasa, between the two cities, is where families from both sides often meet — many weddings there have guests arriving by train, which puts the arrival photographs on the railway's timetable rather than the family's. Travel across the district is included in the standard fee.
